In the beginning, there was nothing but a sea. In the bottom of that sea lived Dartanian, the Sea God. He lived in a cave under water with his wife, Nadiah, and his pets. His pets included Eel, Shark, and Dolphin. They all lived there peacefully until Dolphin decided he wanted to leap out of the water to see what was above the vast sea floor. The Sea God, Dartanian, refused Dolphin this request. He believed they had everything they needed in their sea. Eel and Shark agreed with Dartanian, saying they enjoyed the darkness of the sea, and they got scared when they looked up to the top and saw brightness.
Dolphin got upset, and in fury went straight to the top, and leaped out. Dolphin saw grass, trees, the sky and sun. He was amazed by what he saw, so he went back to Dartanian and said, "Here! Look at all the wonders we we're missing out on." Dartanian, instead of being mad, praised Dolphin. Dartanian told his wife that he too would go explore. His wife wondered how he would do such a thing. Dolphin offered to let Dartanian ride him to the surface. But, before he left, Dartanian told himself he'd have to make a living world in the sea. Dartanian sat and sat for days, pondering all he should put in the sea.
Finally, Dartanian decided, and with a snap of his fingers, an underwater environment as we know it, was born. Everything was alive, with hustle and bustle, Dartanian was glad he was to leave soon, and explore the land above. This was just too much chaos for him.
It finally came the day Dolphin was ready to go. Dartanian jumped on Dolphins' back, they swam straight up through the water, and then broke out of the water. When they got to land, it hurt Dartanians' eyes so much he was forced to shut them. He was not used to such brightness. When he was ready, he opened his eyes and glared in astonishment at the world around him. He stepped off Dolphin, onto the land. He turned to Dolphin and said, "Go back, tell them where I am. Tell them I'll be here for awhile, then I shall come back and again be ruler of the great underwater world." So Dolphin did just that while Dartanian searched through the newly-found place. He found many things he enjoyed, but found that he was fonder of the sea. Therefore, he called upon Dolphin to take him back home.
When he got back, he told everyone the tale of the great above, all the land, the sky, and the breeze he loved so much. Everyone envied Dartanian. Years went by, then Dartanian and Nadiah decided they were going to have a son to be ruler of the land above. So they did just that. They had a little boy named Dimitri. He made friends with Shark, and Shark would swim him up to land frequently. So Dimitri was familiar with the land above. He grew up mostly on the land.
When he was full grown, he could swim to the top by himself. He showcased this to his father. That's when Dartanian told his son about his plans for him. Dimitri was overjoyed, and accepted immediately. Dimitri got to land, and gradually made all the wonderful animals and nature we have today.
